It might be said that for any effort to succeed in the long term, it must be done sustainably. This means that the resources spent in cultivation shouldn’t outstrip the utility or value of the good produced. Rather there should exist a practiced restraint that preserves a natural balance, and that is how we approach agriculture.
We believe that keeping an eye to resource and environmental preservation is the best and most responsible way to grow any crop. To that end, we employ renewable and recycled resources such as lumber pulp, coconut husks, and fish waste in our growing process. We also strive to mitigate our carbon footprint by harnessing natural sunlight and utilizing highly energy efficient equipment.
These are perhaps small measures when considering our scale and the greater fate of our global environment, but we feel they are the type of common sense and ethical practices that should be the hallmark of every business.
